Integrated Security Consultants to secure Singapore Sports Hub

Integrated Security Consultants to secure Singapore Sports Hub
ISC will source, recruit and train a local crowd management workforce to supply the various venues at the Sports Hub, bringing UK expertise in event staffing operations and safety stewarding to this facility.

The Hub, with its motto ‘where Singapore comes to play', includes the republic's new 55,000-capacity National Stadium, the existing 13,000-capacity Singapore Indoor Stadium, plus two multipurpose Sports Halls, an Aquatic Centre, 41,000 square metre Retail and Waterfront area, Water Sports, Sports promenade, Singapore Sports Hub Library, Singapore Sports Museum and Sports & Lifestyle Facilities. In a five-year exclusive deal with global property services provider DTZ, one of the Hub's consortium partners, ISC Ltd has incorporated a new Singapore-based company, Integrated Security Consultants, as it launches this international expansion.

ISC (S) Pte Ltd will source, recruit and train a local crowd management workforce to supply the various venues at the Sports Hub, bringing UK expertise in event staffing operations and safety stewarding to this facility.

Roger Hooker, previously Venue Management Cluster Manager for London 2012 and Venue General Manager at Games Time for the Organising Committee across the Wembley Olympic site, has been appointed Senior Project Director for ISC. He will mobilise the business and lead the team to deliver these services in Singapore.

Greg Gillin, Senior Director at DTZ said: “Modern multipurpose sports, entertainment and lifestyle precincts are very complex operating environments and the Singapore Sports Hub is no exception. DTZ is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for users of the Sports Hub, and recognise the importance of striking a balance between security and crowd management to ensure our visitors' experience isn't diminished by an overwhelming security presence. To achieve this DTZ looked to partner with a supplier who has global experience in security, risk reduction, crowd and event management in large public facilities. ISC's experienced management team and history working on and with some of the biggest global events are perfectly suited to the precinct, and we look forward to working with them to create a safe and secure Sports Hub.”
