In 2007, Coretech ventured into the security industry as a system integrator after seeing the potential market opportunities available. However, the company began to manufacture its own products for more quality control, as products obtained from the locals are oftentimes problematic. Coretech's first project involved the surveillance system needed at the Suvarnabhumi airport, as travelers frequently encounter problems while waiting for taxis, but also to ensure their security when they take the taxi. Coretech was able to win the project because it was able to fulfill end-user needs, but also provide a seamless solution for parking lot management. For example, the solution's ALPR/LPR feature will send an alert to the command center if it recognized a license plate with a criminal record on the taxi approaching the airport. It will also closely monitor the taxi and obtain all of its past traffic records.

Currently, Coretech is the sole distributor in Asia for Massload products, and can sell products at a better price than Chinese products. Nuttawaj Chieobangyang, CEO of Coretech, believes that camera housing is very important. Not only does it perform as the aesthetics of a camera, but is also crucial for protecting the camera from natural elements or blunt force. In fact, 65 percent of his company's sales revenue is from camera housings, and the other 35 percent is from surveillance cameras. Chieobangyang believes the housing market will expand even more due to the vastness of the Asian region; its emerging countries will soon be deploying video surveillance on a large scale.

For home security, Chieobangyang highly recommends using HD-SDI (Full HD) cameras since they offer wide view and high definition, but users do not have to possess IP knowledge. Coretech has its own brand of (Full HD) HD-SDI cameras - MARS, MARSFULLHD, MARS960H - utilizing HD-SDI technology from Korea and Japan and parts are assembled in China. He believes there is no need for the extremely high resolution that IP-based cameras can offer for home security as it might not be displayed as clearly on television.
