The investment in city surveillance will continue to support security market growth; however, the Thai government's decision making process and product evaluation criteria still have room for improvement. One way to improve the product evaluation is to have more involvement by the police, who as users have very specific requirements that can be fulfilled by Bosch. Also, as city surveillance requires integrated systems, and collects vast amounts of data, better IVA applications need to be introduced. Hardware such as cameras needs to be robust, as well as be able to produce crisp, clear images.
