VideoIQ, the recognized in advanced video analytic surveillance solutions, jointly announced the signing of a patent license agreement with ObjectVideo, an innovator in intelligent video solutions with patented video analytics.

ObjectVideo has provided VideoIQ a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-bearing license to its patent portfolio.

"VideoIQ has a strong history for innovation and this agreement gives us freedom to continue to pursue our forward-thinking video analytics roadmap. This partnership expands the boundaries in our development of intelligent analytics to help prevent crime." said Ed Bednarcik, CEO of VideoIQ.

ObjectVideo holds 54 US and international patents in the field of video analytics. Other ObjectVideo licensees include Panasonic, Sony, Pelco, Bosch Security Systems, Tyco Security Products, IntelliVision, Aimetis, 3VR, UDP Technology and VIVOTEK.
