Initially, Perth Airport will install Aimetis VMS to 570 new and existing analog and IP cameras, with approximately 20 per cent of cameras running Aimetis video analytics. The number of cameras is estimated to expand significantly, as the airport redevelopment unfolds and growth continues.
Perth Airport is one of the largest airports in Australia, handling more than 13 million passengers each year. Built in the early 1940s, there are more than 8,000 staff employed across the Perth Airport estate, with more than 120 tenants and retailers.
