ADT announced the appointment of Kathleen McLean as senior VP and CIO. McLean will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s information technology strategy in support of its business operations. She will report directly to CEO Naren Gursahaney.
ADT announced the appointment of Kathleen McLean as senior VP and CIO. McLean will be responsible for developing and executing the company's information technology strategy in support of its business operations. She will report directly to CEO Naren Gursahaney.

McLean has more than 30 years of business and strategic technology leadership experience, including service with world-leading consulting and telecommunications corporations. Most recently, McLean served as executive VP, Chief Revenue Officer and CIO at FairPoint Communications, where she helped chart a new course of systems stability, operational excellence and revenue growth. Prior to that, she spent nearly 12 years in several leadership positions at Verizon Communications, implementing people, process and systems strategies to improve operating performance and customer service across all sectors of the company. Earlier in her career, she worked for American Management Systems (now part of CGI Group) in leadership positions culminating as VP in the Telecom Industry Group.
McLean holds a B.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University. She joins ADT on June 3.
