- Firetide appointed Cisco veteran John McCool as President and CEO on May 20, 2013. McCool was CTO and SVP of Cisco's Global Enterprise Segment, and led the “borderless network” initiative, which accounted for a third of Cisco's US$46 billion sales in fiscal 2012. He has 17 years of sales experience under his belt.
- On April 26, 2013, Flir announced the promotion of Andrew Teich, the President of the Company's Commercial System's Division (from January 2000-May 2013), as the company's new President and CEO. Teich joined Flir as Senior VP of Marketing as the result of the company's acquisition of Inframetrics in March 1999. Teich previously served as Inframetrics VP of Sales and Marketing from 1966-1999. Flir's former president Earl Lewis has retired as of May 19, 2013.
- Safran announced on May 22, 2013 the appointments of several senior executives including the appointment of Jean-Pierre Cojan as Executive VP, and Eric Dalbies as VP of Strategy. Cojan was Safran's Executive VP of Strategy as of 2009, and in 2007 was the Chairman and CEO of Aircelle, a Safran company. He previously worked as Head of Commercial Engines division of Snecma in 2001, and held numerous positions in technical support, marketing, and management at the company from 1991-1995. Dalbies was previously Safran's VP for Information Technology as of 2011, and was deputy to the president and head of the Safran+ improvement initiative in 2008. Before that Dalbies worked as Turbomeca head of information technology as of 2005, and as head of rocket engine programs at Snecma.
