Wilson Chin, VP of Marketing for APAC, shares with asmag how the company replicates its template for success and brings it to its operation, partners and projects in the region.

Critical infrastructure, city surveillance, retail and financial have always been Verint's target verticals. The company's specialty lies in streamlining gigantic amounts of data from various systems and making them sensible to stakeholders (actionable intelligence). With Verint's global operations, success can be swiftly replicated, taken into account local solution and language requirements.

Managing Expectations and Growth

While Verint's top priority is to sustain and drive growth, there are obviously obstacles ahead — such as market dynamics and product commoditization. Opportunities are there, but it just takes more time for all the pieces to fall into the right places, Chin expressed. Nevertheless, he is confident that the team's ability to execute, all the partners' expertise and reach, and the overall management and coverage of the innovative Verint portfolio will see the company through for the many years to come.

Verint is also excited about the prospect of transferring the know-how and best practices that it has established in the U.S. and other active projects in India and the Philippines, to other developing markets and potential projects throughout the region where vertical and user needs are similar. To Chin, localization is much more than language support — it is also about training and making sure that everyone understands how to make best use of the intelligence generated from all the different smart sensors.
