Dvtel has appointed Zvi Peled as COO. He will report to Dvtel President and CEO Yoav Stern, and will assume responsibility for all company operations. Peled will also serve as the company's Chief Product Officer, replacing Ami Amir, who will continue to serve as an adviser to the CEO on special strategic projects.

Peled is a seasoned senior executive, who most recently served as CEO of Apollo Network Services, a private company focused on large defense, energy and transportation projects. He previously held the position of Executive VP, Strategic Planning for Asia Global Technologies, a large security systems integrator. In his prior role as CEO of Flash Networks, he focused the company's business on the emerging mobile data wireless market. Other previous positions include VP of R&D, VP of Operations and GM of the Telecommunication Division of Elbit Systems, and the CEO of Bogen Communication International.

Speaking about the new COO, Stern said the experienced senior executive was an important addition to the team during a critical growth phase for the company. In addition, Stern was confident Peled's management skills, and previous records of working with R&D and engineering teams would add value and set the stage for the company's expansion. The two had worked on two occasions before.

Remarking on his decision to join Dvtel, Peled pointed out the company's business model of delivering solutions to enterprise class end-users plus small to medium business markets, and channel partner practice were some of the driving factors. “During my career I have learned that matching leading technologies and products with intelligent go-to-market strategies are a key factor for growth,” said Peled. “Enabling channel partners to flourish alongside you is also a critical success factor.”
