Aimetis signs licensee agreement with ObjectVideo and integrates with eneo hardware

Aimetis announced an upgraded list of fully integrated eneo IP cameras.eneo is continuously developing the versatility of its IP products through improved partnerships and alliances with providers of VMS like Aimetis. Since the release of Aimetis Symphony 6.10.1 the feature sets of all current eneo IP camera series are now fully integrated with Aimetis Symphony.

Aimetis announced an upgraded list of fully integrated eneo IP cameras.eneo is continuously developing the versatility of its IP products through improved partnerships and alliances with providers of VMS like Aimetis. Since the release of Aimetis Symphony 6.10.1 the feature sets of all current eneo IP camera series are now fully integrated with Aimetis Symphony. This is once again another step in offering significant improvement in terms of multi-vendor compatibility. Users have increased flexibility when choosing system components for video surveillance solutions.

With the eneo plug-In, customers can now get the eneo experience with their full line of IP cameras while using Aimetis Symphony, for both live and recorded video.

ObjectVideo, announced the signing of a global, portfolio-wide patent license agreement with Aimetis of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. "Aimetis is a leader in tightly integrating video analytics into an easy-to-use video management solution. We are pleased to have them join the growing number of IP camera and VMS providers who have become patent licensees," said Raul Fernandez , chairman of ObjectVideo.

Aimetis is the tenth licensee to join ObjectVideo's patent licensing program; other licensees include Panasonic, Sony Corporation, Pelco by Schneider Electric, Bosch Security Systems, Tyco Security Products' American Dynamics business unit, IntelliVision and VIVOTEK. ObjectVideo holds 52 US and international patents and has 40 US and international patents pending.
