The mall's management team wanted to automate vehicular access in an effort to make parking more user-friendly and comfortable for all drivers and operators. Another requirement was to improve convenience for tenants and employees without sacrificing security.
Nedap AVI's long-range vehicle identification RFID reader was chosen for the project. The reader has a minimum read range of 4 meters and a maximum of 10, designed specifically for reliable long-read ranges. The automatic vehicle identification system consists of RFID readers and ID vehicle tag transponders for hands-free parking access.
