Vidsys, a provider of PSIM software, announced the addition of John Gill to its leadership team. Gill brings more than 30 years of experience in domestic and international security, law enforcement, intelligence and private sector contracting to his new role as VP of Business Development.

“John's extensive experience in both the public and private sectors give him intimate knowledge and understanding of the security challenges organizations worldwide face on a regular basis,” said Michael Jackson, CEO of Vidsys. “His broad security background will help us continue to deliver the type of technology required to manage today's complex threat ecosystem.”

Gill most recently served as the VP of Business Development for AGT and 3i-MIND, providers of threat intelligence solutions, where he managed the global agency practice. Prior to that, he served as the White House CSO for both the George Bush and Barack Obama administrations where he managed and implemented security policies and programs supporting the White House complex and the Executive Office of the President. Leading up to this role, Gill spent more than 20 years with the US Secret Service working on assignments with the Presidential Protective Division, the Special Programs/Counter Assault Team and the Miami and Washington field offices.

“In my experience, I have seen first hand how real-world threats and risks affect the business operations and security of both public and private organizations,” said Gill. “I look forward to helping organizations leverage the Vidsys PSIM software to minimize risk, enhance security, and improve overall operations whether locally or globally.”

Gill is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Association of Former Agents of the US Secret Service.
