HID Global's technology enables improved data collection reporting and tracking, resulting in an increase in waste collection efficiency and enhanced customer service.
HID Global worked with the AMCS to develop a solution that would provide their customers with the most advanced technologically, integrated solution that successfully meets the waste collection industry's challenges to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance customer service and retention, and increase the bottom line. The AMCS identified a need for reliable and durable RFID technology to better deliver real-time tracking to ensure accountability for services provided and quick resolution for bin loss or damage.
A number of customers who have implemented AMCS' RFID solution have reported a drop of 80 percent in call queries within their respective call center. This is a direct result of having vital collection data available at the fingertips of the call center's staff. HID Global has partnered with AMCS for five years and has developed a custom solution to meet all of AMCS' needs.
