Hikvision recently introduced a new network box camera -- DS-2CD855F-E that features 2 megapixel resolution and excellent low-light capability, suitable for high definition day / night surveillance applications.

A camera's performance in dark areas is taking on a larger degree of importance in today's surveillance world which requires round-the-clock monitoring. Realizing this, Hikvision introduced series cameras capable of excellent low-light performance, the DS-2CD855F-E 2MP low light camera is notable from them.

Incorporating Hikvision's powerful ISP (Image Signal Processing) technology, the DS-2CD855F-E can excel in ultra low light environments - the camera's sensitivity in dark environments is greatly improved. The product features an IR cut filter allowing the camera to automatically switch to B/W mode and the ability to operate under a minimum illumination of 0.005Lux@ F1.2. Moreover, Hikvision 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology further helps the camera to deliver utmost image quality and reduce the blurring of moving objects.

The DS-2CD855F-E can well meet customers' demand for consistent high-quality images regardless of low light conditions, which makes it very competitive in the IP surveillance market.
