Lumidigm announced that Innometrik's card reader and ZK Software's S920 time and attendance terminal and series fingerprint access control readers will show attendees how the Lumidigm Advantage overcomes the capture problems conventional fingerprint imaging systems have in less-than-ideal conditions. This more effective fingerprint solution is based on using multiple wavelengths of light and advanced polarization techniques to extract unique fingerprint characteristics from both the surface and subsurface of the skin, providing results that are more consistent, more inclusive and more tamper-resistant, regardless if the finger is wet, dry, chaffed or dirty.

“Multispectral imaging assures that users of these products will get a read on their first try, security professionals will see readers providing the next generation of reliable fingerprint technology.” adds Bill Spence, Lumidigm VP , transaction systems.

Innometriks card reader meets or exceeds credential authentication requirements as set forth by U.S. Government identity programs and the Transportation Worker's Identity Credential (TWIC). The card reader paves the path to full PIV deployment for government agencies.
