Bryan Schmode, Executive VP of Global Sales
Avigilon announced the promotion of Bryan Schmode to executive VP of global sales. Mr. Schmode has been instrumental in building Avigilon's record-setting sales growth. With this promotion Mr. Schmode will continue to expand his sales team around the world to accelerate Avigilon's growth. “Since joining Avigilon, Schmode has led the expansion of our global sales team into over 80 countries around the world,” said Alexander Fernandes, President and CEO of Avigilon.

Mace Security
Morgan Hertel, Mace CS Consultant
Mace Security International announced a management change within Mace Central Station (Mace CS), its wholesale central monitoring station located in Anaheim, California. Morgan Hertel, VP and GM of Mace CS, stepped down from his role for personal reasons. Mr. Hertel will be working closely with Mace CS in a consulting role over the next several months.

Mr. Hertel was hired by Mace in 2009 and has more than 30 distinguished years in the security industry. In his tenure with Mace, Mr. Hertel implemented the highest level of technology and continued to grow and develop the expertise and abilities of the entire Mace CS team. “Our clients remain in the very capable hands of the Mace CS professionals who have a high degree of technical expertise and training for the positions they hold,” stated Mr. Hertel. Mace CS key managers combined have more than 150 years experience in central station monitoring.

Francisco Peral, Business Development Manager of Caribbean, Latin America and Mexico
Derek Martinez, Sales in Northwestern United States and Canada
MOBOTIX announced that it has expanded its North American sales force in response to significant growth in North America. Two new business development managers have been added to address significant demand for MOBOTIX security technologies, which are based on the decentralized approach to surveillance.

Francisco Peral will serve as the Business Development Manager focused on Caribbean, Latin America and Mexico. Francisco is a seasoned security industry sales professional with several years of experience in propelling the adoption of IP-based technologies in the region. He previously served as an independent sales representative and security industry consultant for companies such as Genetec and Ionodes, and held top-tier sales positions with manufacturers such as Verint Systems.

Derek Martinez will spearhead sales in the Northwestern United States and Northwestern Canada, driving growth and managing demand for MOBOTIX's decentralized and cost-effective approach to surveillance. His experience as both an industry sales professional with leading manufacturers, such as UTC Fire and Security, and as a security practitioner at the University of California San Diego, enables him to meet customer needs through his keen understanding of the challenges faced by both the reseller community and end customers.

John Conrique, Orange County area GM
Dan Haab, Baltimore Area GM
Protection 1 announced that John Conrique has been named their Orange County area GM. Conrique comes to Protection 1 with seven years of security industry management experience. At Protection 1, Conrique will be responsible for all branch operations and budget, recruiting, hiring, training and compensation, as well as all community outreach and networking.

Protection 1 also announced that Dan Haab has been named their Baltimore area GM. Haab comes to Protection 1 most recently from Stanley Convergent Solutions where he spent nine years as Maryland district general manager. At Protection 1, Haab will be responsible for all branch operations including budget, recruiting, hiring, training and compensation, as well as all community outreach and networking.

Rosslare
Mark Scaparro, Senior VP Global Sales & Marketing
Rosslare Security Products, a division of Rosslare Enterprises, announced that Mark Scaparro has been appointed to the position of Senior VP Global Sales & Marketing effective January 25th, 2012. In this position Mr. Scaparro will be responsible for Rosslare's global sales and marketing efforts with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and expanding Rosslare's brand recognition.

Mr. Scaparro's career has touched almost every facet of the security industry, and he has held a succession of senior positions in sales, marketing, and channel management. Prior to joining Rosslare, Mr. Scaparro spent six years with Securitas (Pinkerton Systems Integration) as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and subsequently ten years at HID Global, starting as Executive VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing overseeing Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product Management and Embedded Technologies. Mr. Scapparo's multi role tenure at HID Global culminated with his position as Senior Vice President Worldwide Identifications Solutions (IDS).
