Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, has appointed surveillance camera industry veteran Peter McKee as VP of Sales and Marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). McKee joins the company after a decade of success in the security industry in sales management, marketing and business development assignments.

Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, has appointed surveillance camera industry veteran Peter McKee as VP of Sales and Marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). McKee joins the company after a decade of success in the security industry in sales management, marketing and business development assignments.

McKee will manage the EMEA region for Arecont Vision, including the sales team. He will also take personal responsibility for strategic accounts, building on the company's top level relationships at key distributors, systems integrators and technology partners. In his new position, McKee will establish a regional headquarters for Arecont Vision in Frankfurt, Germany. He is fluent in German in addition to his native English.

Peter McKee joined MOBOTIX AG early in its development. He was responsible for the establishment and growth of that company's distributor and integrator/installer partner network, the locating, hiring and training of their international sales team, as well as instigating and establishing their international partner training program.

Proximex
Paul Abranovic, VP of Sales and Business Development


Proximex, the leader in event and information management for both physical and logical security markets, announced that Paul Abranovic has joined the company as the new VP of Sales and Business development. Abranovic has more than 20 years of successful executive experience in the IT services, hardware and technology venture sectors, bringing to Proximex a unique combination of experience to secure sales in the growing PSIM market.

Prior to joining Proximex, Abranovic had executive sales responsibility at NetApp and led a team to assist customers with adopting new technologies including cloud computing initiatives, flexible IT infrastructure and efficient data storage solutions. Abranovic worked for Nortel and Cisco Systems before his time at NetApp. At Nortel, Abranovic oversaw the North American strategic global account base where he provided leadership, expertise and innovation to create and deliver value-added communications solutions to meet customers' global business requirements. At Cisco Systems, Abranovic served as director of sales and business development where he developed a field sales program to accelerate the adoption of Cisco's ANA network management platform in the enterprise sector. As part of this program, he assisted with several strategic enterprise accounts, including J.P. Morgan Chase, Ford and General Electric.

CBC
Steve Dunning, National Projects and Business Development Manager.

Leading surveillance solutions manufacturer CBC (Europe) has strengthened its customer focus with the promotion of Steve Dunning into a new role as the company's National Projects and Business Development Manager.

Dunning joined CBC five years ago and has previous experience as an installation engineer. He has over 25 years' background in the security industry and his new post will help CBC to further enhance its service to system integrators, end users, installation providers and other specifiers.

Mick Issa, Regional Sales Manager for EMEA
Tony Lau, Regional Sales Manager for East and South East Asia

ComNet Europe of Leeds in the United Kingdom, manufacturer of fibre optic transmission and networking equipment, has announced an its plans to add two additional sales people to handle demand for ComNet products in the French-language regions of Europe and Asia.

Mick Issa has been appointed as Regional Sales Manager for France, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Francophone countries of Africa and will be based from Paris. Issa has a background in telecommunication engineering and worked as a senior consultant.

Tony Lau has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for East and South East Asia. Lau joins ComNet at a time where there is immense investment that has resulted in enormous growth throughout Asia and there is a demand for very high-quality fiber optic and Ethernet transmission products. Lau brings great experience in the transmission and security industry spanning over the past two decades. Lau previously held the position of GM of GE Security in Southeast Asia.

Rachel St. John, Sales Manager of the Central Region in America
Bob Carrino, Sales Manager of Northeast America

Visonic, a leading developer and manufacturer of cutting-edge home security and safety systems and components, announces the addition of two new North American Sales Managers.

Rachel St. John has come aboard as Sales Manager of the Central Region. Her territory spans Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North & South Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin. Her earliest experience began with master keying lock systems and her passion for the industry has only grown with advancing technologies. She has hands-on experience in almost every level of the security industry from designing commercial CCTV systems, managing sales teams, and key accounts. Prior to joining Visonic, she held the position of Regional Sales Manager for an interactive video monitoring provider and was responsible for launching a national dealer program.

Bob Carrino joins the team as Northeast Sales Manager serving the states of Maryland through Vermont, inclusive of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Carrino has had a very successful career in sales, beginning with a 20 year run in the retail industry before transitioning into the security industry 16 years ago. He has served as a manufacturer's representative for several leading companies as well as a Regional Sales Manager for a major CCTV manufacturer.
