Optellios, a manufacturer of fiber-optic sensing and security systems, recruited Michael Mackesy and Chris Norton to their global sales team. Michael Mackesy will be responsible for sales of the Fiber Patrol fiber optic perimeter intrusion detection sensors in the U.S. Located in Orange County California, Mackesy has more than 20 years of experience in technical system sales in both security and telecommunications. He was previously with Proximex, Video IQ and Verint Video Solutions where he was responsible for large system sales to the enterprise and critical infrastructure security market.

Optellios, a manufacturer of fiber-optic sensing and security systems, recruited Michael Mackesy and Chris Norton to their global sales team. Chris Norton, based in the U.K., will lead the Optellios sales effort in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and India. Norton brings more than 25 years of physical security experience to Optellios for the international markets they are pursuing. For the past five years Norton was the MD for Senstar in the U.K.  He was previously Commercial Manager for Autonomy Systems and Neurodynamics where he was responsible for their enterprise video and intelligent video products globally and has held senior positions in the security industry.

Senstar, a provider of outdoor perimeter security technology and products, welcomed two new senior executives to Senstar US operation, including James Quick, as President and Kenneth Ribler, Executive Director.

Quick is a security professional who brings a background of more than 18 years in the security industry to the company. For the past seven years, he has served as President/CEO of Optex for their Americas operation. Prior to this position, Quick was the VP of Business Development for Protection Service Industries (PSI).

Ribler who has been named Executive Director, government, commercial and emerging markets, has more than 28 years of experience in all facets of security, force protection, antiterrorism and law enforcement having worked as Director of Operations for L-3 Communications and Deputy Director for the Electronic Systems Squadron at Hanscom Air Force Base.

John Fisk, European IP Product Manager

Samsung has recruited John Fisk to be its European IP Product Manager.

Fisk has worked within the electronic security industry for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Samsung he was with Norbain for seven years performing a number of roles, including Branded CCTV Product Manager.

Fisk will be responsible for providing specialist IP and network pre- and post sales support, as well as offering design and technical assistance on large projects.
