Resorts World Manila is Asia’s newest playground, a modern live-work-play community and the first integrated tourist hub in the Philippines.

Resorts World Manila is Asia's newest playground, a modern live-work-play community and the first integrated tourist hub in the Philippines.

This project was awarded in 2009 to ESSCOR, a subsidiary of Ademco in the Philippines. A fully integrated access control management system was provided, including intrusion detection, video surveillance and attendance system. The project will likely to be completed by November 2011.

It integrates RWM security, intrusion, video surveillance and time and attendance system through the use of API. It has 10 floors divided into four areas. The hotel, casino, offices and entertainment areas with a theater and shopping mall are all secured with smart card readers. All gaming tables at the casino area are provided with intrusion system monitor and manage at the Surveillance Office.

Hotels, casinos and offices of RWM are also secured with smart card readers. Operators are deciding whether to add elevator security and high-level integration of the video surveillance system to easily manage video alarms.

Ademco sent an on-site project engineer to oversee all activities and a dedicated Software Engineer that is a certified installer. It also extended a two-year warranty for products and workmanship.

Ademco was awarded the project through a formal bid process, beating out contenders Tyco, Group 4, Guard All, Electrosystem and IBM.
