"Enhancing mobile identity with security that provides true access management is at the heart of the functional requirement defined by the critical infrastructure industry. As part of that, integration to and coordination/synchronization with the PACS is becoming mandatory," said Brian Skiba, President of MaxID, U.S. "With the addition of the MBM product portfolio from Enterprise Air, we will be able to provide several end-to-end solutions consisting of hand-held devices, identity and security software and PACS connectivity for our key markets including the maritime market for TWIC credentials, the oil/gas, power generation and transportation facilities. We believe that facility security officers will find that MaxID will offer the most complete, compelling and turnkey solution for integrating PACS systems and proximity entry cards," Skiba said.

Bill Markel, CEO of Enterprise Air, will be joining MaxID to oversee the mobile security and identity solutions practice at MaxID. "MaxID, with its increasing strategic shift from a multimodal device maker to a more holistic solution provider and with its rapid dominance in the TWIC, PIV and CAC market place, is a partner to work with for Enterprise Air. The MBM product is very complementary as it gains strong acceptance in the commercial side of the critical infrastructure market."
