Enzio Schneider is Basler’s new Product Line Manager for the vertical ITS market (traffic applications). He is a graduate geophysicist and joined Basler in 2004. Schneider was active as an Application Engineer (2004-2006) and as a Project Engineer (2006-2008) for Flat Panel Display Inspection with extended stays in Taiwan and Japan. He took over the responsibility for Surface Inspection Sales in 2008 before joining the camera product management team in 2010. In his current role, Schneider will manage project engineering, product management and sales specifically as they apply to ITS applications for both machine vision and network cameras. Schneider brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous positions, and we are happy to have such an experienced and skilled new colleague on the team.

Lars Gudbrandsson has joined Milestone as Head of Product Management, coming from 13 years with Nokia in such positions as Global Product Management Leader, Head of Premium Product Management and Director Sales & Product Management. Gudbrandsson holds an Electronics Engineering Degree and a certificate in General Management from the Kellogg School of Management.
Martin Friis-Mikkelsen is Milestone Solution Partner Program Manager, bringing a decade of management experience in IT and client services deployment from Unisys, Dell and Intel. He holds an Executive MBA and a Masters in Management of Technology from Denmark Technological Institute and attended Copenhagen Engineering Teknikum.
Lawrence Guzman is now Director of Distribution, Key Accounts and Vertical Sales, based out of headquarters. Jens Johansson is Milestone's new Sales Manager, Transport and Henrik Sydbo Hansen is Sales Manager, Retail. They have previously been with Axis Communications.
David King has been hired as City Surveillance/Critical Infrastructure Sales Manager in North America. He comes to Milestone from AMAG Technology, with prior employment at OnSSI and Anixter. Mike Tice is now the North Central Territory Manager covering sales for Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois, bringing strong industry expertise from prior positions at Pivot3 and Genetec. Tim Taylor is Territory Manager for the Great Lakes region (Michigan, Indiana and Ohio); he previously held positions at Pivot3 and Verint. Emmett Rooney is New England & Upstate New York Territory Manager, having been at Pelco, Paxton Access Control and ADT Security Services. He has an associate degree in law enforcement.
At Milestone Systems in the U.K, Peter Currie is the Southern Area Sales Manager. He has a 20-year career in the industry working for both integrators and manufacturers: Vigilant Technology, Videotec, Petards and Shorrock Security Systems. Andrew Start is Central Area Sales Manager in the U.K. with knowledge from the IT industry in sales of wireless and fiber optic technology, as well as from selling Bosch surveillance products to IT resellers and working with Anixter.
Gianluca Mauriello began the new year as Area Sales Manager (Central-South) for Milestone Systems Italy, bringing extensive sales and channel experience: he was a Sales Manager for Promise Technology Europe and Area Sales Manager for national telco Policom, after 15 years in the distribution business with CDC, TCS, Vegstor and Elmat.
Heiko Suwalski has been hired from Videor to start April 1st as the new Milestone Regional Sales Manager North in Germany, working out of Berlin.
Based out of Milestone Systems Dubai, Tamara Abdallah is Sales Engineer with a Master of Computer Science from the American University of Beirut. She has been with Ericsson as an Integration Engineer. Antony Joseph is Sales Engineer with a Master of Computing from University of Western Sydney and Master of Information from University of New England CCNA. He worked as a network engineer with TPG Network Australia and latest from Zahra Technology. Maria Samiento is Support Engineer, with a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from AMA Computer University; she has worked as Technical Support for Telstra BigPond and D-Link.
Troels Kruckow has joined Milestone as Business Analyst. He held this and Business Controller positions with Convatec, Unomedial and Maersk Medical, after graduating with a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
Christian Bohn is now VP of Product Management & Marketing; Manual Nylin is VP of Field Sales for the Americas, and Tim Palmquist is VP Sales Operations.
Juliette Gustavsson has been promoted to Head of Corporate Marketing overseeing brand and marketing initiatives, responsible for web, graphics, collateral and visuals, including product launch and advertising campaigns. Juliette graduated with a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
After several years of contributions as Marketing Program Manager, Fredrik Wallberg has been promoted to Marketing Manager Americas, based out of Beaverton, Oregon. Willa Myrman is Marketing Program Manager Americas, hired from Western Fairs Association. Tanja Myhrvold has been promoted to Marketing Program Manager Europe at Milestone headquarters in Copenhagen. Rohit Khubchandani in Dubai has taken a new role as Marketing Program Manager for the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and India.
Louis Lyu has been promoted to Sales Manager South Asia after several years working out of the Singapore office. Morten Lundberg has moved to the Singapore office from the Product Management team in Copenhagen, to be Technical Support Manager in Asia.
Martin Romme has become Technical Product Manager, responsible for the Milestone Software Development Kit, coming from the Milestone Consultancy team where he has solid experience customizing Milestone integrated solutions for special projects, and training partners in use of the SDK. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Ramboll and Integ-IT and has degrees from Copenhagen Business School and Aalborg University.
In the Product Management team, Line Byssing has moved from Sales to Product Manager after returning from maternity leave, and Andreas Pettersson is a newly hired Product Manager for the core XProtect products, coming from Anoto AB. He holds a Masters in Computer Science and Engineering with a major in Software Engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology.

Mehdi Elhaoussine, Convergence & Solutions Director for the Americas
Oberthur Technologies welcomed Mehdi Elhaoussine as the new Convergence & Solutions Director for the Americas Region, reporting directly to Martin Ferenczi, MD of the Americas Region for the Card Systems Division at Oberthur Technologies. Elhaoussine will lead the region's activities for Oberthur Technologies payment and mobile convergent platform, including Near Field Communications (NFC) applications and fully managed Trusted Service Management services, over-the-air service administration platforms, mobile money and smart authentication solutions for online e-shopping and e-banking. Elhaoussine and his team will provide the Convergence & Solutions services to mobile operators, banks and transit authorities.
Prior to joining Oberthur Technologies, Elhaoussine was employed as the EMEA region GM with CASSIS International, a provider of TSM platforms. Additionally, his experience in the field of NFC and mobile money was further enhanced as a consultant with France Telecom/Orange group and the World Bank. Elhaoussine has an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Nantes and an MBA from IAE Aix-en-Provence.
