OSI Systems Wins London 2012 Summer Olympic Games Contract

OSI Systems, a provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the security and healthcare industries, announced that its security division, Rapiscan Systems, has been appointed to be the exclusive supplier of security screening solutions for the London 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games and has been awarded a contract with a value of up to US$31 million. The decision was made by the London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). Rapiscan Systems has also been recognized by LOCOG as a tier three sponsor of the London 2012 Olympics.
