Intergraph has partnered with Fujitsu Indonesia, an IT provider headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, to provide Intergraph's technologies to the public safety and security, defense and intelligence, government, transportation, photogrammetry, utilities and communications industries in Southeast Asia.

For 40 years, Intergraph's Security, Government and Infrastructure (SG&I) technologies have been relied upon by the most agencies and governments to protect their people, assets and infrastructure. By enabling easy decision making and a coordinated response to any crisis created by both natural and human causes, Intergraph's technologies simplify large volumes of data to create, display and distribute actionable information.

Fujitsu Indonesia has extensive experience in serving the Southeast Asian market, with expertise in providing customer-centric IT solutions. It will market, distribute and implement Intergraph's SG&I solutions in Southeast Asia. The regional partnership will meet increased demand for geospatial technology in the Southeast Asian market, particularly in the public safety and security industry, as the region continues to grow.

Southeast Asia is located strategically for both geographic and economic reasons. The region connects two continents, resulting in busy sea-trade routes, and it is one of the fastest-growing markets in the world with abundant natural resources. The region lies on the intersection of geological plates with heavy seismic and volcanic activity, making it prone to natural disasters. As one of the emerging economy, it is increasingly important for Southeast Asian governments to strengthen security against increasing threats in the region. These factors have contributed to the growth of the public safety and security industry in Southeast Asia.

“Fujitsu is pleased to be Intergraph's partner to deliver geospatial solutions to the Southeast Asian market,” said Achmad Sofwan, COO of Fujitsu Indonesia. “With Intergraph's expertise as a provider of public safety and security software worldwide, we will be able to meet the challenges faced by governments and businesses in Southeast Asia and provide integrated, end-to-end public safety and security solutions.”

“Intergraph understands the challenges of public safety and security agencies and our technologies help agencies to overcome those challenges,” said Peter Russell-Smith, Senior VP of Intergraph SG&I in Asia-Pacific. “The partnership with Fujitsu is an integral part of our business in Southeast Asia to meet the region's security needs from an emergency readiness perspective.”
