TrafficLand, an authorized aggregator of live traffic video in the U.S., launched its live traffic video service in Miami.
TrafficLand, an authorized aggregator of live traffic video in the U.S., launched its live traffic video service in Miami.

The company said it recently integrated 108 Miami area traffic cameras operated by Florida Department of Transportation into its national network and is using its technology to serve live video from the cameras to commuter and public information websites, media, public safety agencies, mobile application providers and others.

TrafficLand also provides access to traffic cameras located in Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, and the Florida Keys.

"TrafficLand is having a record year signing DOT partners in top markets because of our unique ability to ensure that their video is available when it's needed," said Lawrence Nelson, CEO of TrafficLand. "TrafficLand's patented Image Engine technology and dedicated network infrastructure delivers a sustainable solution for video sharing-across technology platforms, which is critical during high demand spikes that occur with traffic incidents and weather emergencies such as approaching hurricanes."
