The integration of the two separate units has many advantages: with new installations, the specifier has greater flexibility thanks to the space that is saved. When sounders are equipped with the visual notification appliance, there is no need to find new suitable surfaces and no need for additional wiring. In both cases, the Bosch solution saves on installation costs and both signaling devices also have the additional feature of being remarkably energy efficient.
As a combined unit, the two signaling devices work synchronously: visual notification appliance is activated at the same time as the audible notification appliance. The visually appealing device offers four flash options at different frequencies. The fire panel monitors the signaling device and displays any faults.
The visual notification appliance with Series 200 sounders is installed in three easy steps: secure the base elements, clip on the visual unit and then clip on the audible notification appliance. The Series 200 and the new visual notification appliance from Bosch therefore represent a versatile solution for a wide variety of different applications.
