BQT Bio-X / XK Series miPass Biometric Readers

The miPASS BIO-X & XK Series readers offers the ultimate security by combining leading edge fingerprint scanning technology and encryption for secure user verification and authentication, limiting exposure through lost or stolen access cards.
Card holder's access control data and fingerprint template is encoded directly into the memory chip of the miPASS card, which is secured with encryption keys protecting the card holder's information from being compromised.
The BIO-X & KX Series reads the cardholder's data from the memory chip of a miPASS card and only transmits to a door controller once a valid finger has been presented.
In addition to the smart card reader + fingerprint verification device, the BIO-XK is fitted with a 4 x 3 keypad and 4 programable function keys.
* The BT910-X provides a secure operation mode, comparing the presented finger with the template stored on the smart card. (Bio+Card)
* The BT910-XK adds the flexibility of PIN. Combined with the template on Card, this mode provides ultra secure operation. (Bio+Card+PIN)
* For small stand-alone installations the BT910-X can work in a Template on reader mode. Using a PIN to identify the individual user's template, this mode can accommodate up to 500 users. (Bio+PIN)
