The SNC-RX550 has high-speed, 360-degree, endless panning capability and a tilt range of 90 degrees, which enable users to precisely capture almost any object surrounding the camera. Also, with its powerful 26x optical zoom (312x with digital zoom), users can zoom in on small or distant objects with exceptional clarity.
Employing the latest 1/4-type Exwave HADTM CCD, the SNC-RX550 delivers exceptional picture quality for remote monitoring applications.

With a minimum illumination level of 1.0 lux at F 1.6 in color, the camera captures high-contrast images even in low-light conditions. It supports a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second when image size is VGA (640 pixels by 480 pixels) in both MPEG-4 and JPEG modes, producing clear, smooth-moving images. The frame rate can be set to meet any network-environment and system requirements. The SNC-RX550 also offers optimized sensitivity in both day-night environments. As the scene darkens, the infrared cut filter is automatically replaced with a clear filter and the camera switches to black-white mode, requiring a minimum illumination of less than 0.15 lux. In this mode, the camera is also sensitive to nearby IR illuminators.
