The NVR is deployed globally, working with standard and megapixel cameras. It is compatible with both 4:3 and HD 16:9 aspect ratio video formats. VideoEdge NVR software has been performance tested and certified to support up to 400 Mbps of throughput for video recording, in addition to playback streaming. This provides a non-blocking architecture for both live and recorded operations. The advanced storage architecture can be set to record to internal and/or external storage solutions (e.g. DAS, SAS or NAS), while supporting dynamic allocation and expansion.
