The PTZ dome cameras support video resolutions up to D1 (720 by 480 in 60 Hz, 720 by 576 in 50 Hz). They can simultaneously send multiple video streams in H.264 and/or M-JPEG that are configured at different frame rates or resolution. H.264 greatly optimizes bandwidth and storage use without compromising image quality, while Motion JPEG is supported for increased flexibility.
The indoor AXIS P5522 has an IP51 rating for protection against dust and dripping water, enabling the camera to function even when a sprinkler system is activated. The outdoor AXIS P5522-E has IP66 and NEMA 4X ratings for protection against rain, snow, sun and dust.
