The OV3642 is OmniVision's most advanced 3.1 Megapixel CameraChip sensor to date, featuring an embedded high-performance TrueFocus image signal processor (ISP), delivering video and pictures that are always in focus. Utilizing OmniVision's new and improved OmniPixel3-HS?(High Sensitivity), the OV3642 delivers improved sensitivity and low-light performance.
Other unique features of the OV3642 include an embedded image stabilization function that does not require any external components, as well as an embedded microcontroller to support an internal auto-focus engine and programmable general purpose I/Os for auto focus control.
