The delays in projects will have an impact on the security market. However, there is a lot of infrastructure development in the country which provides opportunities for security companies. “Security is a critical component for most companies. Enterprises are looking to migrate their legacy access control solutions to secure, high frequency smart card solutions. As a result, we have quite a number of migration installations. We also expect continued acceleration of IP-based access control solutions for increased functionality and application convergence,” Lim said.
